The only option on the window sticker is for the Red Metallic Mist paint job for an extra $395. The price for this top of the line Elite Edition model is $47,820. This week Honda sent me a 2021 Odyssey Elite Edition Minivan to test drive and review. Today the Honda Odyssey is the number one selling minivan in the US, and it starts with a base price of only $31,790. Starting with the LX, then the EX, EX-L, Touring, and ends with the Elite Edition. It debuted in the 1995 model year, was first built in Japan, has gone through 5 renditions, and now comes in 5 different trim, price and equipment levels. The Odyssey is the first minivan introduced by Honda. Honda is a major US manufacturer and sells cars, crossovers, SUV’s, minivans, pickup trucks, motorcycles and outdoor power equipment. Honda builds products at 12 manufacturing plants across the country, and has built over 26 million cars and light trucks in the US since 1982. Honda began manufacturing in America in 1979 when it opened its first plant in Marysville, Ohio. ![]()
